"I was very excited for my first time seeing Paula Nelson and Merle Haggard on the bill with Cannons. Paula was just kinda ok, but when Merle came out, I was worried about his health. He wasn't moving around well, sounded like he forgot some song lyrics, and his guitar playing was not what we expect from him. After the 4-5 song, he got loosened up and performed great the rest of his set. The crowd was great too, lots of people having a great time together, no one getting rowdy. Cannons came out rolling, truly performing unlike a lot of artists today. His band was very minimal but sounded awesome. It was fun. I'm so glad I got to see him. It was a memorable night."
